Random Evidence & Dj Babu sighting
So I was reading one of my favorite MMA blogs bloodyelbow the other day and saw they had a mini-documentary about fighter Allistair Overeem posted. The opening sequence of its about him returning home to the Amsterdam airport after defending his title, and guess who i spot in the opening frame? Evidence & DJ Babu from Dialated Peoples. Probably the most random thing i’ve seen in a while. I’m sure the guy who shot/edited it knew who they were because he included the instrumental to one of their songs, but i very seriously doubt Allistair Overeem saw them, or knew what was going on.

Michael Jackson Tribute – Fri. June 25th @ Skullys

McDonalds & The American Family
A couple weeks back I was taking a break from some home remodeling work and decided to hit up McDonalds up (i know i know McDonalds is the devil, just hear me out). Since i was on the north side of town i hit up the one in Clintonville, one that i had never been to before.
As i sit down to eat, to my right I see a table of 3 younger boys sitting together. They were probably about 13-14 years old.
At a table behind them was a mother with her teenage son.
To my immediate left was a grandmother sitting with her grandson.
On the patio outside was a father sitting with his two sons.

All has been quiet on the home-front, while we took some time to decide when we were going to release the next Greenhouse (Blueprint & Illogic) EP, but we’re happy to announce the decision has been made. Electric Purgatory Part Two will be released Saturday July 24th. Part Two features guest appearances from Aesop Rock (Def Jux) and Toki Wright (Rhymesayers) and is produced by Blueprint. Here are the details:
– The promo version of Electric Purgatory Part Two EP will be released earlier the week of the 24th.
– The Delux version will be sold for $4.99 and will come with a free 11×17 poster and the instrumentals.
– There will be a deal where you can get a greenhouse t-shirt + EP + poster for $15.
– The CD Release party will be held saturday july 24th in columbus ohio at skullys. So far the lineup is Greenhouse (Blueprint & Illogic) and Toki Wright. The final lineup will be confirmed soon.

Blueprint & Illogic in San Francisco Friday April 8th
Blueprint, Illogic, and DJ Rare Groove will be playing Friday April 8th (TOMORROW NIGHT), at the Li Po Cocktail Lounge in San Francisco (Chinatown). The address is 916 Grant Avenue (at Washington St) San Francisco, CA 94108. This show was just added thanks to the homies Dez and Knobs.We were already gonna be out in the bay and they were nice enough to invite the greenhouse crew to play with them tomorrow night in San Fran. Its a Friday night and we need everybody’s help in spreading the word on this so people will know since there’s only one day before the show. Fort Worth Texas Recap
Last night, there were not many people at the show, but by far it was the most memorable night of the tour…
We sold a good amount of merch despite the small turn out. Which is good because i dont think the show itself made any money thru the door.
The bartendress liked me, and proceeded to buy me shots all night long. I think i got up to 9-10 but she told me it was only 6-7. I dont know who to believe as she admitted she was previously an alcoholic who could do 20 shots of henny a night. she also admitted having fucked up her liver and her doctor told her she couldnt drink, but she did anyways.

This show was added last minute, with just over a week to promote it, so please please please help us spread the word. We’ve never been to Palm Springs before but i think this one will be fun as hell. If you’re in the area come celebrate Spring Break with Weightless.
