Last week Illogic posed a question on Twitter about whether or not producers should use kits from other people to make beats that started some interesting discussions about the unspoken rules of production and whether or not they should be followed. This week, the most infamous podcast discusses how many of these unspoken rules actually hurt producers more than they help them. On the day that Blueprint celebrates being seven years sober, the most infamous podcast decided to talk about what life looks like once you cut alcohol out of your life. Everybody Hates Print
As with most things in life, the internet has it’s ups and downs–not only in terms of content, but also in terms of the way people are treated. Blueprint himself learned this first hand after one of his tweets about mainstream hip-hop artist Wale started a back and forth between the two artists, causing Wale to send his twitter followers after Blueprint. People learn a lot when millions of twitter followers are unleashed on them in attempts to make their lives miserable. It seems as though no matter how far we advance in terms of knowledge, the level of showmanship in rap shows is always inconsistent. This week was no different when news broke of of Lil Yachty almost getting into a fight with a fan who told him his stage show sucked. This week we list the ten most common ways rappers ruin their own shows. Was Chance the Rappers Million Dollar Donation a Mistake?
Last week, news emerged of Chicago rapper making a 1 million dollar donation to Chicago Public Schools. People everywhere were unanimously excited about it, but we wouldn’t be the most infamous podcast if we didn’t discuss whether or not he made the right decision. After hearing a news story about two young men from St. Augustine, Florida who killed each other after they met up to resolve their internet beef, we had to have a frank conversation about it internet beef and how to avoid it’s sometimes fatal consequences.
