About
Blueprint rhymes. Blueprint does beats. He is from Columbus, OH.
He started a label called Weightless Recordings in 1999. They sold tapes at first. One of the tapes they sold was from his crew Greenhouse Effect. Blueprint rhymes on and produces Greenhouse Effect records, with Inkwel & Manifest. Greenhouse Effect releases 4 albums (Up To Speed, Life Sentences, Columbus or Bust, & Greenhouse vs Radiohead)
Then he produced three Illogic albums (Unforeseen Shadows, Got Lyrics, and Celestial Clockwork). Apparently Blueprint is serious about his production.
One day he met a guy named RJD2, who was also from Columbus. RJ did beats too, really good ones. They did music together and started a crew called Soul Position. Soul Position released three records (Unlimited, 8-Million Stories, & Things Go Better With RJ & Al).
Blueprint didn’t have to produce any of the Soul Position records because RJ is good at production. These records all came out on Rhymesayers Entertainment.
Blueprint has released one solo record. It’s called 1988 because he likes that year. He produced it himself. Blueprint released several records on his label Weightless Recordings; The Weightroom (2003), Chamber Music (2004), Vitamins & Minerals (2004), Iron & Niacin (2005), Blueprint vs Funkadelic (2008), and Sign Language (2009).
Blueprint is currently preparing his second solo album “Adventures in Counter-Culture” for release on Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2010.
